FCC eyes 1200 megahertz of spectrum in 6 GHz band for unlicensed use

The FCC is proposing to make up to 1200 megahertz of spectrum in the 6 GHz band (5.925-7.125 GHz) available for use by unlicensed devices. Corning cites a 22% rise in optical sales in Q3

In its Q3 financial report, Corning reported a year-over-year sales increase of 22% for Optical Communications. Sales exceeded $1 billion for the second consecutive quarter. Juniper Networks posted Q3 net revenues of $1,179.8 million, a decrease of 6.0% year-over-year, and a decrease of 2.0% sequentially.
