China's ZTE Corporation reported significant growth in the global WiMAX market in 2008. According to a report entitled 'Global WiMAX Market, Takes off in 2009' released by In-Stat, ZTE claimed 15 out of the 94 new WiMAX 16e commercial networks deployed last year.
