Japan's J:COM Deploys Motorola's DOCSIS 3.0

Jupiter Telecommunications (J:COM), Japan's largest multiple system operator (MSO), has selected Motorola's channel bonding technology to deploy the company's first DOCSIS 3.0-based Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) and cable modems. Specifically, the deployment uses Motorola's DOCSIS 3.0-based BSR 64000 CMTS/Edge Router and SURFboard SB6120 cable modems.
