Cisco to Acquire Tropo for Phone/SMS APIs

Cisco agreed to acquire Tropo, a start-up offering real-time communications APIs. Financial terms were not disclosed. Equinix confirmed that it is in preliminary discussions with the Board of TelecityGroup regarding a possible cash and share offer for the company.
