KPN Selects Huawei for CWDM/DWDM

KPN signed a formal contract with Huawei for a CWDM/DWDM project. The project includes access layer CWDM covering the whole of the Netherlands and the national backbone DWDM. Financial terms were not disclosed.Huawei described the contract as it second recent breakthrough in Europe. Telenor Selects Juniper/Siemens for IP/MPLS

Telenor has commissioned Siemens Communications to upgrade its broadband network to a next-gen IP/MPLS backbone using Juniper Networks' core and edge routing platforms.
