Qualcomm to Build Nationwide, Wireless Mediacast Network

QUALCOMM announced plans to deploy and operate a nationwide "mediacast" network, delivering many channels of high-quality video and audio programming to third-generation mobile phones at mass market prices. BT Offers Wireless Broadband for £1 a month

BT will begin offering access to its Openzone public wireless broadband hotspots for just £1 a month to its business and consumer broadband customers. Peregrine Semiconductor closed an oversubscribed $17.6 million round of Series C financing for its RF CMOS and mixed-signal communications ICs.
