T-Mobile Czech Republic has deployed a new IP backbone to provide a unified infrastructure for its Release 4 mobile architecture. The network is based on the Cisco CRS-1 Carrier Routing System platform. Unity Trans-Pacific Cable Nearing Completion

The Unity cable system, which is backed by Google and five other international carriers , reached a critical milestone -- landing of the cable in Chikura, Japan.
