Alcatel Selected for Municipal FTTH Network in Georgia

Dalton Utilities, a public utility serving small cities in the state of Georgia, has selected the Alcatel 7340 Fiber-to-the-User (FTTU) system to deliver triple play services to residences and businesses. Fortinet Raises $30 Million for ASIC-powered Antivirus Firewalls

Fortinet, a start-up based in Santa Clara, California, closed $30 million in fourth round funding for its ASIC-powered, network-based anti-virus firewall systems. The FortiGate systems deliver a full range of network-level services -- firewall, VPN, intrusion detection and traffic shaping -- as well as application-level services such as anti-virus and content filtering. Riverstone Networks Updates its Financial Restatement

Riverstone Networks released results of its ongoing accounting review confirming that previously announced financial results were overstated. Connexion by Boeing signed a contract with Eutelsat for satellite transponder capacity covering key areas or Europe and Asia.
