EchoStar XVII Satellite Successfully Launched

 EchoStar XVII, which is one of the highest capacity satellites ever built, was successfully launched aboard an Ariane 5 rocket from the European Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana. Huawei announced a new HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access) record for peak single-user uplink data rates with 20 Mbps using DC (Dual Carrier) and 16QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) technologies.
