Key drivers for 5G will be future revenue streams and cost saving, according to a new "5G Readiness Survey" published by Ericsson. The "5G Readiness Survey" was based on input from 50 executives at 29 global operators who had announced their intentions for 5G. Lumos Networks, which is a fiber-based service provider in the mid-Atlantic region, agreed to acquire Clarity Communications.  Financial terms were not disclosed.
