  • In November, Looking Glass Networks agreed to acquire the network facilities of Lightwave Communications for an undisclosed sum. Looking Glass said the acquisition adds $10 million dollars of annualized revenue and expands its network footprint. Specifically, the acquisition adds new metro networks in Baltimore and Philadelphia and extends Looking Glass' existing networks in New York, Newark, NJ, Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. It also adds POPs in key central offices and carrier hotels along the Eastern seaboard.
