ZTE Supplies First CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase 2 to India's Sistema Shyam

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd (SSTL) has awarded the world's first CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase 2 commercial contract to ZTE. Compared to EV-DO Rev.B Phase1, the Phase2 technology can further enhance the BTS cell capacity, spectrum efficiency and peak rate, achieving high speed rate as high as 4.9 Mbps in single frequency carrier and 14.7 Mbps in three frequency carriers bundle.ZTE also won a CDMA expansion contract and EV-DO upgrade contract for 10 circles of the SSTL network. http://www.zte.com...
