UTOPIA Project to Deploy Riverstone's New 15008 Ethernet Edge Router

The Utah Telecommunications Open Infrastructure Agency (UTOPIA) has decided to deploy the Riverstone 15008 Ethernet Edge Router in the network's core. Riverstone began shipping its RS routers to UTOPIA in August 2004. The entire UTOPIA project is expected to take three years to build at an estimated cost of $300 million.
