Smile Telecom Holdings Ltd (Smile) has launched LTE in the 800 MHz band in Dar es Salaam using Alcatel-Lucent's solution. So far, the network has been rolled out in several districts of Dar es Salaam, including Mikocheni, Massani Peninsula, Oysterbay and Sinza.
