AT&T Security Hole Exposes 3G iPad Email Addresses

A security vulnerability on an AT&T website exposed the names, email addresses and ICC ID credentials of an estimated 114,000 iPad 3G owners in the United States, according to a report from Gawker.com. The list includes many CEOs and top government and military officials. Hitachi EPON/DePON Fiber Acces Gains USDA Acceptance

Hitachi's Salira DePON product family has been accepted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service (RUS) for use on projects funded by the Rural Telecom Infrastructure and by the Broadband Loan and Loan Guarantee Programs. Ciena reported revenue of $253.5 million for its second quarter of fiscal 2010.
