Handango Builds Digital Media Library for Mobile Operators

Handango has now secured access to a globally licensed digital media library of more than 10,000 ringtones and graphics, which are available for licensing. Handango's customer list includes Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Kyocera Wireless, Sprint, Cingular Wireless, T-Mobile, Orange, O2, HP, Dell, Palm, Microsoft, SEGA Mobile, Sony, AOL, Yahoo! Handango estimates the global market for ringtones was worth $700 million to $1 billion dollars in 2002. Most service providers are charging between $1 and $2 for each ringtone or graphic downloaded.
