Orange Business Services Establishes Telepresence Community

Orange Business Services announced several new enhancements to its Telepresence portfolio aimed at encouraging enterprise adoption. These include the addition of a Telepresence Community that provides direct access to Cisco's 800 Telepresence rooms.


Orange Business Services is currently working on pooling Telepresence infrastructure in hosted and managed modes, ultimately offering Telepresence as a cloud service. A launch is expected in the near future.


Orange is also reaching out to other global operators to provide Telepresence interconnections. Orange Business Services aims to have at least three major interconnections in place before the end of the year.
