Flextronics Closes Purchase of Certain Nortel Optical Assets

Flextronics completed its acquisition of certain optical design operations and related assets in Ottawa, Ontario and Monkstown, Northern Ireland from Nortel Networks. The deal, which is part of a larger transaction planned by the companies, was first announced in June.



As previously announced, the balance of the divestiture, whereby Nortel Networks will sell to Flextronics certain manufacturing operations and related assets, is anticipated to close in the first half of 2005,http://www.flextronics.comhttp://www.nortelnetworks.com
