Northern Ireland Targets 100% DSL Availability in 2005

Northern Ireland aims to make DSL Internet access available to 100 percent of its population -- urban and rural -- by year-end 2005, announced Ian Pearson, Member of Parliament and Northern Ireland's Minister for the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI). Pearson also announced that BT has been awarded the contract to implement the ambitious broadband undertaking, which will be financed by DETI. http://www.investni.com/
