Alvarion Unveils 900 MHz Carrier Access System

Alvarion introduced a new BreezeACCESS 900 system, operating in the unlicensed 902-928 MHz frequency bands and designed for service to areas previously inaccessible for wireless coverage due to heavy foliage. Supporting data rates up to 3 Mbps, the BreezeACCESS 900 uses Hybrid Digital Modulation to penetrate foliage. The platform is currently in several pilot deployments.
