Ubicom Expands Line of 802.11a/b/g Processors

Ubicom introduced two new wireless network processors for 802.11a/b/g. The first device offers greater processing power (160 MHz) thanUbicom's existing IP2022 product (120 MHz), while the second device is a feature-specific low-cost variation of the processor. By increasing the clock speed of the IP2022 processor, Ubicom said it has advanced both TCP and UDP performance by as much as 33%.
