Datagram's NYC Data Center Taken Down by Sandy

Datagram's data center at 33 Whitehall in Manhattan was knocked offline by Hurricane Sandy.  Once ConEdison cut power to the neighborhood, Datagram's back-up generators kicked on.  However, the basement flooded with sea water , taking out the the diesel pumps.  The company reports no infrastructure damage.

A number of prominent websites were impacted by the Datagram outage, including Buzzfeed, Gawker.com, HuffingtonPost, The Real Deal and others.
