Chile's Entel Deploys Dual-Carrier HSPA for 42 Mbps Peak

Chile's Entel is launching dual carrier HSPA technology for peak downstream rates of up to 42 Mbps. Ericsson is the lead supplier.


Commercially, Entel will offer plans with a maximum speed of 22 Mbps, with an average download speed of 6 Mbps, positioning the company well ahead of the game as compared to competitors.
