BlueCat Networks, a start-up based in Toronto, secured US$11 million in new financing for its enterprise-class IP Address Management (IPAM) platforms.
BlueCat Networks provides automated solutions that simplify network processes while still enabling enterprises to introduce VoIP, wireless devices (including RFID tags), IT virtualization, and IPv6 into their networks.
The company said thousands of its IPAM and DNS/DHCP solutions have been successfully deployed to meet the rising IP management demands of government, military and both medium and large enterprises worldwide.
The new funding round was led by Bridgescale Partners.
