Telsima Wins DCME Contracts with Telefonica and Vodacom

Telsima announced multimillion dollar contracts with Telefonica in Latin America and Vodacom in Africa to supply Digital Circuit Multiplication Equipment (DCME), which substantially increases the capacity of toll-grade voice calls over circuit switched networks such as Long Distance International network connections and GSM networks.

The TelsiNex range of products, manufactured at Telsima's Bangalore facility, use Telsima's own DSP chip TXS-1000, which has sold over 5 million ports worldwide. TelsiNex can carry 16 E1s on one E1 bearer.
