Conterra Raises $41 Million for Transport Services

Conterra Ultra Broadband, a provider of broadband transport services based in Charlotte, North Carolina, announced the closing of a $41 million private financing to support its continued growth. The company serves mostly suburban and rural markets. DukeNet Communications, a wholesale telecommunications subsidiary of Duke Energy Corporation, is among the investors.
