Nevis Cites Rapid Growth for its Identity-based Policy Enforcement

Nevis Networks, a start-up based in Mountain View, California, announced it has more than doubled sales quarter-to-quarter, Q4 2006 -- Q1 2007 for its identity-based policy enforcement solutions. The company's customer base more than 140 percent in the last six months. In addition, the company has added its first Fortune 100 customer as demand for its LANenforcer product line continues to grow.

The Nevis LANenforcer family integrates comprehensive LAN security functions into an ASIC-based security policy processing engine that provides deep inspection of every packet to ensure data integrity and confidentiality, threat containment and user accountability. The appliances uniquely integrate identity-based user access control, deep threat defense and user visibility to ensure persistent pre-and-post connect LAN security.

"Customers that have looked at a wide variety of so-called NAC solutions have a strong preference for inline systems that can enforce granular pre and post-connect policies to secure their LANs," said Shane Buckley, chief operating officer of Nevis Networks. "But that's only half the battle. Deployment simplicity is the key driver of this wave of success we're enjoying in the marketplace."http://www.nevisnetworks.com
