Broadcom Names New CFO

Broadcom named Eric K. Brandt as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Brandt was a former chief financial officer of Allergan and most recently chief executive officer of Avanir Pharmaceuticals. He replaces former CFO William J. Ruehle, who retired last September.
