ARM Signs UWB Chip Providers

ARM is building momentum for its ARM9 family of microprocessors amongst UWB chip developers, including Alereon, Focus Enhancements, Mindtree Consulting, Pulse~LINK and Staccato Communications.



UWB is positioned as a high-speed, short-range wireless technology for transferring digital content between devices in different entertainment and computing groups in the home, such as digital video recorders, set-top boxes, televisions and personal computing (PC) peripherals. http://www.arm.com
