Patriot Media Deploys Nortel Cable VoIP

Patriot Media, a cable operator serving 115,000 homes in central New Jersey, is using Nortel's cable VoIP solution for its newly launched Digital Phone service. The installation uses Nortel's PacketCable-qualified Communication Server (CS) 2000-Compact softswitches. Nortel Global Services also provided integration and testing of IP Unity's Mereon 6000 Media Server and Mereon Unified Messaging application. http://www.nortel.com
