Azanda Teams with LG Electronics on Switch/Router Designs

Azanda Network Devices, a fabless semiconductor start-up based in Sunnyvale, California, has established a collaborative design partnership with LG Electronics. Specifically, LG Electronics has selected Azanda's Multi-Service Traffic Management technology for use in future releases of its family of multi-service switch routers. Designed for aggregation and offload of access network traffic, LG Electronics' switch routers provide ATM switching and routing to millions of Korean broadband subscribers. By incorporating Azanda's traffic management technology into its line of multi-service switch routers, LG Electronics will be able to support SLA and QoS requirements at OC-48 speeds.
