Motorola and Cedar Point Work on Joint Packet Voice Solution

Motorola Broadband Communications Sector and Cedar Point Communications are working on an end-to-end packet voice solution that draws upon the combined experience of the two companies -- Motorola's advanced IP access network solutions and Cedar Point's integrated Class 5 packet switch. The companies said that they are committed to a completely interoperable cable telephony solution designed for rapid deployment in HFC-networks targeting PacketCable compliance.
