NEC Selects Agere Systems Network Processor, Traffic Management Chip

NEC Corporation has chosen Agere's network processor solution for use in its CX4200 multiservice switching router product line. Agere's network processor performs various traffic management functions. NEC and Agere have also had a broader collaboration that includes solutions that range from multi-gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 10 Gbps.
