The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) recently announced how it has allocated funding to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and five territories to deploy high-speed Internet to all addresses that are currently unserved. The funding, a component of the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program, totals $42.5 billion in eligible grants.
