Orange tests Google’s generative AI in contact centers

 Orange is testing generative AI from Google Cloud in a next-gen contact center.

Generative AI could be used to transcribe the call, summarize the exchange between the customer and service representatives, and suggest possible follow up actions to the agent based on the discussion.

Google Cloud said the experiment has the potential to dramatically improve both the efficiency and quality of customer interactions.
