AT&T announced the expansion of its copper-based U-verse service in five additional states, offering residential Internet service at speeds of up to 45 Mbps downstream and up to 6 Mbps upstream.

- Houston, TX

- St. Louis, MO
- Midland, TX
- Oklahoma City, OK
- San Antonio, TX
- Tulsa, OK
The upcoming come as part of AT&T's Project Velocity IP (VIP), a three-year investment plan announced last fall to expand and enhance its IP broadband networks. AT&T plans to upgrade top tier U-verse speeds to up to 100 Mbps in the future.
