FCC Calls Hearing on Network Resiliency After Superstorm Sandy

FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski will convene a series of field hearings to examine challenges to the nation’s communications networks during natural disasters and in other times of crisis. In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, the FCC is seeking a wider national dialogue about the resiliency of communications networks.

The first hearings will be held February 5 in New York City and in Hoboken, New Jersey.
