Cablevision Suffers DDoS Attack

Cablevision Systems, which serves the NY metro area, experienced a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on its Optimum Online network beginning at approximately 6pm on Tuesday night. The company said it resolved the issue shortly after midnight, when all service returned to normal. Cablevision continues to investigate the attack. http://www.cablevision.com
