Arbor: Google Represents 6.4% of all Internet Traffic Worldwide

Based on its traffic forensics, Arbor Networks calculates that Google now represents an average 6.4% of all Internet traffic. In a blog posting, Craig Labovitz notes that Google continues its rapid growth trajectory -- the is only one global Tier1 provider that still carries more traffic than Google, that Google now has direct peering (i.e. not transit) with more than 70% of all providers around the world, and that Google is employing global content caches to lighten its traffic loads.http://asert.arbornetworks.com/2010/10/google-breaks-traffic-record/
