Spirent Offers Support for MPLS-TP and Mobile Network Sync

Spirent Communications introduced a TestCenter Mobile Backhaul solution for performing testing of Ethernet links in the mobile backhaul network.


Specifically, Spirent TestCenter Mobile Backhaul can be used for testing the performance of SyncE and IEEE 1588 with industry's highest accuracy. It supports MPLS-TP including OAM, QoS and protection functions. Spirent said its solution can also emulate any size mobile network environment, applications and users and eliminating the need for expensive mini-networks with real network elements in the test lab.
