Force10 Networks filed SEC papers for an initial public offering (IPO). The San Jose, California-based company specializes in high performance switches and routers for data center and other network deployments. In fiscal 2009, the company's products were shipped to more than 1,100 end customers in 63 countries. The company reported revenue of $43 million for the year but has not yet attained profitability.
