Microsoft Reaches Deal with America Movil for Services Across Latin America

America Movil agreed to adopt and deploy a suite of Windows Live mobile services for its 172 million customers across Latin America. Through this deal, America Movil will make it easier for its customers to extend the Windows Live and MSN experience from the PC to their mobile phone through its mobile Internet browser, text messages and client-based applications. Financial terms were not disclosed.


The Windows Live mobile services included in the agreement are Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Spaces. America Movil will also feature MSN Mobile and Live Search in its mobile portals. Together, these services make it easier for customers to connect and share with the people they care about, search for important information, and get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment while on the go.
