Acme Packet Posts Q2 Sales of $25.7 Million, Expands Stock Repurchases

Acme Packet reported Q2 revenue of $25.7 million compared to $27.0 million in the same period last year. Net income for the second quarter of fiscal year 2008 was $0.8 million, or $0.01 per share on a diluted basis, compared to $4.6 million, or $0.07 per share on a diluted basis, in the same period last year. The company also announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the expansion of the company's common stock repurchase program from $20.0 million to $55.0 million.
