Thailand's DTAC Deploys NSN's Base Stations

Thailand's Total Access Communication Public Company Limited ("DTAC"), which operates 800 MHz and 1800 MHz mobile networks, has received the first of 1,500 Flexi EDGE base stations from Nokia Siemens Networks. NSN said its base stations can deliver up to a 70% energy savings over existing equipment as they minimize the need for air conditioning at the base station site.
