Telenor Picks Alvarion

Telenor Telecom Solutions AS awarded a framework agreement to Alvarion to purchase WiMAX solutions. The contract has an option for other Telenor subsidiaries and affiliates as well. Financial terms were not disclosed.


Telenor has adopted WiMAX as one of several technologies for providing broadband coverage where the traditional fixed-line technologies are not suitable.http://www.alvarion.com
