Juniper Supplies IP/MPLS for Russia's Synterra

Synterra, one of Russia's largest independent wholesale service providers, is building a new high-performance IP/MPLS network infrastructure based upon Juniper Networks M- and T-series routing platforms. Specifically, Synterra is deploying the M-series multiservice edge routers, including the M120, at smaller points of presence throughout the country. Juniper's T640 core routing platform, which delivers 640Gbps throughput, can be upgraded in-service to a multi-terabit T1600. Financial terms were not disclosed.
