Colt Upgrades European Fiber Network with Nortel's DWDM

COLT has boosted the capacity of its pan-European fiber network using optical technology from Nortel. Specifically, COLT is using Nortel's Common Photonic Layer (CPL) technology and its Optical Multiservice Edge 6500 platform with wavelength tunable lasers and electronic compensation for fiber dispersion.
