RADCOM Offers IPTV Performance Monitoring Solution

RADCOM is introducing an end-to-end IPTV monitoring and troubleshooting solution. The company said its Omni-Q for IPTV gives operators full visibility into subscriber service requests and their propagation into IPTV network elements such as middleware. It allows them to examine the performance of Video On Demand (VOD) and other application servers. The system solution monitors network and media KPIs (key performance indicators) regarding application performance, DVB Transport stream, network transmission (jitter, delay and packet loss), service usage and availability as well as specific subscriber transactions.

RADCOM's Omni-Q for IPTV extracts and calculates critical performance metrics throughout the delivery chain. It monitors the quality of thousands of video streams simultaneously, providing a MOS score for each. It provides MPEG-Transport Stream analysis with MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and H.263 support.
