China's Zhejiang Telecom Deploys Redback

Zhejiang Telecom will use Redback's SmartEdge family of multi-service edge routers to deliver broadband internet, IPTV and virtual private network (VPN) services to business and residential users. Zhejiang Telecom, which is a major subsidiary of China Telecom Corporation, currently serves more than 3 million broadband subscribers in Zhejiang province. Financial terms were not disclosed.
