Cognitronics Names New CEO

Cognitronics, a supplier of carrier class media server platforms, announced the appointment of Michael Mitchell to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Brian J. Kelley, who has tendered his resignation as an officer and director of the company. Mitchell formerly served as President and CEO of ThinkEngine Networks, which was acquired by Cognitronics in November 2005.
